This small town located about 31 miles from Tacoma and 59 miles from Seattle brings you rural living at its finest. With a population of just 3,007 (as of 2020) and spanning 4.766 km², Eatonville is a peaceful and close-knit community at the foothills of scenic Mt. Rainier.

Founded in 1889, the town incorporated in 1909 when the Eatonville Lumber Company brought newcomers to work in their mills, and who would eventually become life-long residents.
The mill closed in 1954 but the town continued to grow and prosper, with residents branching out to other industries and professions.
Once home to the Nisqually, Eatonville has come a long way since its humble origins as a logging town. Today, it is one of the most desirable places to live in Pierce County, WA with good schools, gorgeous homes, and a strong sense of community.
